Gijs also personally sponsors a charity, CF. For that, he skated one hundred kilometers in 2021 and raised more than 6,000 euros. He also did a charity run with his class in 2018 and raised a total of more than 5,000 euros. In 2023, he planned to skate again, but unfortunately it didn’t happen because the ice was too bad. Still, he is continuing to raise as much money as possible through selling, mountain biking, and roller skating.

Go-karting is an expensive sport. Gijs wants to grow and make progress as mentioned earlier, but he has not been able to do that yet due to financial reasons. That is why Gijs is actively looking for sponsors to be able to continue and move further in motorsport.
